Proqure specialises in PhyGital experiences, seamlessly blending physical products with digital platforms to revolutionize engagement strategies. By infusing products with smart capabilities, they empower brands to thrive in the digital age, establishing scalable direct-to-consumer channels.
For this project, I collaborated directly with the project owners to craft a superb user experience, enabling clients to create their own digital experiences effortlessly, without the need for coding.

01. Process
Breaking down the project
Stepping into the world of ProQure, a nimble startup, demanded immediate action. Given the scarcity of similar ventures focusing on physical experiences, our approach demanded innovation from the outset. We kickstarted the project by outlining a rudimentary user journey, which served as the foundation for enhancing an existing flow.
Building on strong foundations
With a solid design system already in place, my role entailed seamless integration of the groundwork laid by our in-house developers. Leveraging the existing framework, I ensured a cohesive and efficient design implementation process.

From day one, I forged close ties with stakeholders, ensuring our trajectory remained aligned with the overarching business objectives. Our collaboration was driven by a shared commitment: to advance towards our primary business goals while upholding an intuitive and user-centric experience.
02. Experience first
User Experience
In this project, our primary challenge lay in crafting an experience that was not only intuitive but also exceptionally minimalistic in design. Our goal was to streamline the user journey, eliminating unnecessary clutter and complexities. To achieve this, we drew inspiration from familiar behaviours found in popular platforms like Notion.
By incorporating features such as intuitive text editing and seamless drag-and-drop functionalities, we aimed to provide users with a sense of familiarity and ease of use. This strategic approach allowed us to create a user experience that not only met but exceeded expectations, fostering engagement and delight among our audience.

UI Updates
Our UI enhancements were meticulously crafted with a clear focus on aligning with our overarching UX objectives. At the forefront of our design philosophy was the principle of simplicity, ensuring that every element of the interface was intuitive and user-friendly.
By prioritising clarity and ease of use, we aimed to create an interface that seamlessly guided users towards their goals with minimal friction. Through thoughtful design decisions and careful attention to detail, we transformed the UI into a powerful tool that not only complemented but also elevated the overall user experience, resulting in increased engagement and satisfaction.

What were the takeaways?
The insights project served as a transformative journey, marked by the challenges and triumphs of embracing a design system for the first time. Overcoming initial hurdles, such as adapting to new tools and processes, proved instrumental in harnessing the system's full potential. Amidst these challenges, a steadfast commitment to prioritising the company's primary goals remained central, guiding design decisions and implementations towards advancing overarching objectives. Striking a balance between the benefits of consistency and efficiency offered by the design system and the need for flexibility and customisation ensured an approach tailored to project requirements and constraints.
Throughout the project, iterative learning and improvement underscored the team's commitment to continuous optimisation.
